Things I Need

While searching online I have come across some things that I must acquire to make my wardrobe complete. Here are just a few things I am in desperate need of right now.

High waisted denim shorts. Prob wouldn't get much wear out of them in the winter so I have plenty of time to find the perfect pair before summer.


Anything floral. Am definitely purchasing a floral bikini for summer





Cut out dresses. Once again something that will look great in summer. (why do I seem to be stuck in the summer past?) However teamed with tights, boots, and leather will they will still make an excellent winter staple.






Doc Martins. Never really gave docs a second thought until now! They've been popping up all over and I am keen to add a pair to my wardrobe. Floral, pastel or plain? However will I decide.






Ripped jeans. They've got that whole 90's grunge feel and along with docs seem to be everywhere (hmm are the 90's back?) I'm pretty sure I wont be able to bring myself to pay large amounts for jeans with rips and holes so I may have to set a date with some old jeans, some bleach and some scissors.

what i miss about california -
sunset blvd, the bustling boardwalks at huntington beach on the day of the 08 surf open, an extensive selection of haute-gamme boutiques filled with apparel nowhere near my price range, then momentarily ducking into a secluded thrift shop and emerging victorious with a gem in hand, pretty abercrombie & fitch type boys roaming around all the stereotypical locations - at the mall, the movie theatre, the soccer field and the ice cream parlour, in-n-out burgers, being extremely tanned, browsing through eclectic hat shops and most importantly, listening to ryan seacrest everyday on the radio .

Bec and Bridge

Taking a break from my torturous assignments I came across these shots from bec and bridge. Nice right? By this time next week I will be on mid term break so I plan to do alot of shopping, a wardrobe re-haul and maybe a little DIY-ing. Lots of blogging too of course.

Esta foto es de una de las mejores fiestas que se han hecho últimamente, Airwaves, no se porque, ni siquiera había un concepto, jajaja pero fue todo el mundo y me la pase d e l u j o.
Hoy fue un día intensamente emocionante, tembló y la gente se volvió loca, pero yo no lo sentí porque iba caminando con Zona a comprar nuestros boletos, dicen que cuando vas en la calle no se siente... ahora lo digo yo porque es verdad, no se siente nada, solo ves a la gente evacuar los edificios todos espantaditos.
Así es entonces como ya estoy con un pie en Chicago, les recomiendo que si están armando su paquete para Lollapalooza compren los boletos en Internet y le busquen bien porque hay vuelos baratísimos.
Y los que alcancen a leer esto hoy, vayan al Imperial con Electric Co.

sorry for the total lack of updates lately .. distractions abound .
on a lighter note, i'm finished school in three weeks and then it's summer vacation . oh and plus i think i've acquired a summer job . all i seem to talk about is summer, no ? ah well, it really is an intoxicating season .
